We process personal data (hereinafter referred to simply as "data") only to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services offered therein.

 

Pursuant to Art. 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679—the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as "GDPR")—"processing" is defined as any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure, or destruction.

 

In the following privacy policy, we inform you in particular about the nature, scope, purpose, duration, and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we decide—either alone or jointly with others—on the purposes and means of processing. Furthermore, we inform you below about third-party components we use for optimization purposes and to enhance the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data in this context under their own responsibility.

I. Information about us as the controller

The controller responsible for this website within the meaning of data protection law is Philipp Krause (see above).

II. Rights of users and data subjects

 

With regard to the data processing described in further detail below, users and data subjects have the right:

 • to obtain confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to access the processed data, to receive further information regarding the data processing, and to obtain copies of the data (see also Art. 15 GDPR);

 • to the rectification or completion of incorrect or incomplete data (see also Art. 16 GDPR);

 • to the immediate erasure of data concerning them (see also Art. 17 GDPR) or, alternatively, where further processing is required pursuant to Art. 17(3) GDPR, to the restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR;

 • to receive the data concerning them that they have provided and to have this data transmitted to other providers/controllers (see also Art. 20 GDPR);

 • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they believe that data concerning them is being processed by the provider in violation of data protection regulations (see also Art. 77 GDPR).

 

Furthermore, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any rectification or erasure of data or restriction of processing carried out pursuant to Articles 16, 17(1), and 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not apply if such notification proves impossible or involves disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has the right to be informed about these recipients. In addition, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, users and data subjects have the right to object to the future processing of data concerning them, provided that the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct marketing is permissible.

 

III. Information on Data Processing

Data processed during your use of our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage ceases to apply, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent such deletion and no information to the contrary is provided below regarding specific processing procedures.

 

 

Server data

 

For technical reasons—specifically to ensure a secure and stable website—data is transmitted to us or our web hosting provider via your internet browser. These so-called server log files record information such as the type and version of your internet browser, the operating system, the website from which you accessed our site (referrer URL), the specific pages of our website you visit, the date and time of access, and the IP address of the internet connection used to access our website.

 

The data collected in this manner is stored temporarily, but not in conjunction with other personal data concerning you.

This storage is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in improving, stabilizing, ensuring the functionality of, and maintaining the security of our website.

 

The data is deleted after seven days at the latest, unless further retention is required for evidentiary purposes. In such cases, the data is excluded from deletion—either in whole or in part—until the incident has been finally resolved.

Contact Inquiries / Contact Options

 

If you contact us via email, the data you provide will be used to process your inquiry. Providing this data is necessary to process and respond to your inquiry; without it, we may be unable to answer your inquiry or may only be able to do so to a limited extent.

 

The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

 

Your data will be deleted once your inquiry has been fully answered and provided that there are no statutory retention obligations preventing such deletion—for example, in the event of subsequent contract processing.
